Accessibility and inclusion in learning and teaching

What is Accessibility?

Learning environments and related course materials are accessible when every student can access and understand the content, regardless of any disability, web browser or assistive technology being used.

Accessibility allows all Swinburne students to have an equal learning opportunity regardless of an impairment or disability.

Inclusion of all students in the education process will enhance educational opportunities.

This web site has been designed to provide assistance and guidance to the academic staff of the Higher Education Division of Swinburne University to produce accessible course materials for posting on Blackboard.
