The Faculty of Business and Enterprise at Swinburne University of Technology inducted a further six entrepreneurs into the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE) Hall of Fame on July 10, 2007.

The AGSE Hall of Fame 2007 marks the second year of this event dedicated to recognising and celebrating outstanding entrepreneurs.

This year's event was conducted in conjunction with the Annual Richard Pratt Entrepreneur Oration, 'The Possible Dream' , presented by Peter Fritz AM, Managing Director of Global Access Partners and Group Managing Director of TCG.

Jim Fox, FTSE, PhD, Managing Director of Vision Systems Limited, was inducted in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the technology industry. By far, his most important achievement was establishing a strong work culture among his talented team of staff and his tireless efforts to build an internationally-focused technology business.

Peter Scully, founder of the SAI group, a boutique financial advisory practice, Peter was recognised for his success in the venture finance category. His business identified a critical gap in the market for structured products that deliver tax effective, high returns and together with Grant Ross, a graduate of Swinburne's Masters of Enterprise and Innovation, he has transformed the company into a $3 billon specialist funds management group.

Barry Moignard, a Swinburne graduate, was recognised for his success as a start up entrepreneur. Barry has started some 40 business ventures in his professional career, including Nitropak, Davnet, Koowee Alarms and the award winning UK nursery Kelways at Chelsea Flower Show. He also contributed to the growth of the Over Fifties Friendly Society with $2 billion in asset investment.

Zig Inge, Managing Director of the Zig Inge group was recognised for his contribution to high growth enterprise. His passion for quality construction and outdoor living was the driving force behind the construction of his first retirement village development. Today his company designs and builds retirement villages and apartment complexes throughout Australia.

Ross and John Brown, of Brown Brothers Milawa were recognised for their outstanding contribution to the family business sector. Following in the footsteps of their father's and grandfather's the pair have helped make Brown Brothers an international success story with a renowned reputation in UK, New Zealand, Europe, USA, South East Asia and Japan.

Tanya De Jong, founder of Music Theatre Australia was inducted in recognition of her outstanding contribution to social entrepreneurship. Her charity, The Song Room provides music and arts programs in Australia 's schools and communities, particularly those disadvantaged through economic and geographic circumstances.
