Professor Hindle's current teaching and research activities are focused in six research areas:

Competitive research grants
In Australia, as sole or principal researcher, Kevin
Hindle has won grants, specifically for entrepreneurship
research projects and whose findings are in the public
domain, in excess of two million Australian dollars.
Sources of these funds have included public research
granting agencies, private sector sponsors and internal
university competitive granting agencies.
In Canada and internationally Kevin Hindle works in
a team that includes Professor Bob Anderson of the University
of Regina and Professor Leo-Paul Dana of the University
of Canterbury. The team works to win grants focused
on the study of Indigenous entrepreneurship. It has
gained and is targeting significant funding for several
large and significant projects in this field.
