$22,000 NDC Industry Scholarship

Industry scholarships are initially awarded (subject to availability) at the completion of first year to continuing local students with outstanding potential who are enrolled as a full-time student in a specified undergraduate program in the Higher Education Division at Swinburne University of Technology.

The Industry Scholarship, in addition to the tax-free stipend that continues for the duration of a student's course, offers you a paid Industry-Based Learning Placement with the industry sponsor and the opportunity for part-time work after IBL. A Personal Development and Leadership mentoring program will be provided along with the opportunity to complete a final year research project at the industry sponsor. The Industry Scholarship will no doubt provide a great opportunity for 'fast-tracked' graduate employment!

The scholarship continues for the duration of a student's course provided that they continue to achieve satisfactory academic progress, meet the performance outcomes of the personal development and leadership program, and continuing receipt of funding from the industry sponsor.

The personal development and leadership program comprises a pastoral/mentoring program to extend professional and personal skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, entrepreneurship, and change management. The program may also include some specific assignments, attendance and participation in special industry events and presentations.
