What is YAA?

 

YAA is a national, non-profit organisation, which facilitates Business Programs between Industry and students at tertiary levels.

 

What is YAA Business Skills Program?

The YAA Business Skills Program is aimed at young people wishing to gain hands-on experience. The program provides work-based activities directly relevant to building employability skills and key competencies. Students will form their own company and brainstorm a product or service to manufacture/produce, distribute profits to shareholders and finally wind up the company. The program develops teamwork and co-operation as well as leadership and personal initiative - values much sought after by employers.

 

Employers want experience as well as qualifications

 

The Business Skills Program provides an opportunity to gain essential practical skills in business and marketing with guidance from industry mentors from sponsoring organisations.
