The 2006-2008 Academic & General Staff EBA, which came into effect from 1 July 2006, requires the establishment of the Swinburne Consultative Committee (SCC). The SCC is a standing committee and is the forum for consultation with the University regarding implementation of the 2006-2008 EBA.
Membership of the SCC will comprise:
Up to four members of the University nominated by the Vice-Chancellor or the Vice Chancellor’s nominee;
one academic staff employee elected by and from ongoing and fixed-term academic staff by a secret ballot every two years;
one general staff employee elected by and from ongoing and fixed-term general staff by a secret ballot every two years; and
up to two persons nominated by the NTEU.
