HOW
TO APPLY - Australian permanent residents only
Undergraduate
and TAFE courses
All
full time Undergraduate programs, together with the majority of
full time TAFE courses offered by Swinburne, require a Victorian
Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) application. VTAC works as an
application and administrative agency for all Victorian Universities
and TAFE institutes.
Applications
to VTAC must be submitted electronically via the VTAC website. The
VTAC Guide to University and TAFE courses which is produced annually
is available from newsagents or alternatively may be viewed on the
VTAC web site. The VTAC toll
free number for general enquires is 1300 364 133.
When
to Apply
Applications through VTAC commence in July each year. Timely applications
close during the last week of September and although late applications
will be accepted by VTAC until mid December some programs that have
special requirements will not accept late applications. Please check
the VTAC Guide for details or view Swinburne's VTAC
Entry web page.

Direct
Applications
For Higher Education programs
not offered through the VTAC system applicants will need to complete
a direct entry application form. Forms are available from Swinburne's
student
forms page. To confirm the application procedure please check
the relevant entry on CourseFinder.
Note that Swinburne's mid-year
intake is direct entry only and not through VTAC
For part time study with the TAFE division, or for those TAFE courses
that are not offered through the VTAC system, applicants should
contact the relevant teaching
department.

Postgraduate Programs
Direct applications
are necessary for all postgraduate study at Swinburne University.
Forms can be download from the postgraduate
web site.
Australian
