Welcome

IAESTE is a worldwide family committed to fostering exchanges for university students in science, engineering and related disciplines. This enables them to gain paid professional work experience in other countries. We do this in a way which will give each trainee the additional advantage of living and working in a different cultural background to their own. We hope that this will help to promote international understanding, peace and goodwill.

We enjoy our association with Australian students who wish to experience life in another country, overseas students who are coming to our country and Australian employers from industry, government and universities who have joined our program to provide work opportunities for IAESTE students from other countries. We have sections here which will explain our operation to each group.

This website has been developed by an ex Swinburne University of Technology student, Charles Oey, and we are really grateful to him for doing such a great job.
