The Faculty of Information & Communication Technologies has a strong industry focus. Most of our students commence challenging, well-paid jobs in industry when they graduate. Our curriculum and IBL program both focus on ensuring that students gain the necessary knowledge and skills through direct industry experience. We work closely with both organisations and students to ensure that placements are of benefit to all involved.

We invite organisations to participate in the following programs:

12 month placement

Twelve month Industry-Based Learning (IBL) placements are available for businesses needing a skilled and enthusiastic person to join the workplace. Our students can make a substantial contribution to your organisation.

Bachelor of Information Technology

The Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) is a unique undergraduate scholarship program sponsored by the IT industry to ensure that graduates are not only well educated but also prepared for the requirements of professional ICT practice. It recognises and rewards excellence.  All students are granted a industry scholarship and required to undertake two 20 week industry placements.
