ABSTRACT:

Amcor is a leading packaging business with over A$9 billion turnover, over 200 sites, over 20,000 employees and about 75% of sales occurring outside of Australasia. The discussion will look at the business and technology drivers that are shaping IT strategy in a global manufacturing business and how the role of IT professionals is also being reshaped by these drivers. The two speakers will provide both global and local perspectives on these issues.

This presentation will be of interest to staff and students enrolled or with an interest in the Information and Communication Technologies and Business disciplines as well as providing an insight into career opportunities within these professions.
