Franz graduated with a Masters of El Eng from the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). Since then, he has held numerous software development-related positions at all levels of responsibility (Software Engineer through to R&D Manager and Business Unit Manager) in various industries, including: logistics/warehousing, telecommunication, finance/taxation, broadband, broadcast, network management and the automotive industry. Franz also gained valuable experience lecturing Business Information Systems (BIS).
