Michelle Beveridge
CIO, IDP Education Pty Ltd

Michelle is CIO for IDP Education Pty Ltd - a joint venture between a consortium of 38 Australian Universities and Seek Limited. IDP works with international students wishing to study in Australia.

With qualifications in accountancy, business administration and computing, Michelle's specialty is managing IT with a business focus. Prior to IDP, Michelle has over 15 years experience in IT roles at both public (CIO at OAMPS Limited) and government (Australia Post) organisations. As a member of the executive team, Michelle helped OAMPS integrate its numerous acquisitions (120+ in 6 years) before OAMPS itself was purchased by Wesfarmers Limited. At Australia Post, Michelle's roles had a consistent theme of aligning business and IT and implementing major business and systems change. Projects included developments in International Postal Systems, Supply Chain and Logistics, and Financial Systems. Before falling into a career in IT, Michelle was the proprietor of a small business in the Pharmaceutical industry.

In her spare time, Michelle actively promotes life-long learning as a board member of the Alumni Board of the Australian Graduate School of Management and the Adult, Community and Further Education Regional Council for the Western Region of Melbourne. She is a Trustee for the Queen Victoria Women's Centre and a strong supporter of the development of young women in the IT industry.
