Sergio Tarzia
Managing Director - 4LOOP - Business Focused Information Technology

Sergio is the Managing Director of 4LOOP, responsible for business direction and strategy. Prior to establishing 4LOOP, he consulted to several multinational companies in Australia and overseas including AT&T Bell Labs, Fujitsu and Westel Wireless.

Sergio holds a degree in Electronics Engineering, and was able to bring this discipline into the ICT field where he successfully merged engineering with software. He started as a software engineer, and later assumed roles such as solution architect, project manager and senior consultant. In 4LOOP, he continues to help clients as a Project Director, maintaining client relationships and providing business management consulting, focusing on achieving business outcomes.

Sergio believes that the ICT industry provides the most diverse and challenging opportunities for new graduates. ICT continues to be a strategic enabler for business growth, productivity and improvement, driving high demands in qualified and skilled ICT graduates. He is passionate about working with clients to deliver practical solutions that are aligned with what the business wants, to help them produce tangible results. He believes that to achieve this, the industry must apply the same amount of focus to the "Information", "Communication" and "Technology" parts of ICT, thus achieving better alignment between technology and business needs.
