The CIS Research Program is one of several programs established within the Centre for Information Technology Research (CITR) of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies (FICT).

Our research program collaborates with the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences to act as a focus for and to promote the work being carried out in areas such as artificial neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, collective intelligence algorithms, data visualisation and brain dynamics and brain activity modeling.

Our activities are used to model and visualise data, to optimise a wide range of processes, and to model a variety of real world complex systems.
