Linking to articles in ScienceDirect
You must be on campus to create the link but the link will also work from off-campus.
1. Locate the article
Connect to ScienceDirect using this link.
2. When you find an article you want to link to
Click Summary Plus to link to the citation and abstract or click Article to link to the citation and article. (For Academic Press titles you need to click Abstract + References.) You can't link directly to the "Journal Format-PDF", but there is a link to PDF from the Summary Plus and Article screens.
Above the article title on the Summary Plus and Article screens is a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). You can use the DOI to create a persistent link to a ScienceDirect article.
The DOI looks like this:
DOI: 10.1016/S0016-3287(01)00031-3
Insert the following text immediately before the DOI:
http://ezproxy.lib.swin.edu.au/login?url=http://dx.doi.org/
