Renewing
You can renew your loans by telephoning the Library, or by using the library catalogue. Any subsequent renewals will be for a standard loan period: books/audiocassettes can be renewed for two weeks and videos for seven days at a time.
You will not be able to renew a book or audiocassette if the item is overdue, if you have other overdue items or outstanding fines and charges, or if another person has placed a hold on it.
You can renew loans by telephone or using the catalogue.
Returning items to the Library
While the Library pays for postage when sending items to you, we ask you to arrange and pay for the return of items to the Library. Postage can be expensive so we recommend that you explore the options available to you for returning materials to us. Please return all library materials by the due date as fines apply to overdue items.
Overdue, lost or damaged materials
Fines apply to late return of items you have borrowed. Borrowers who lose material are responsible for the full replacement cost plus an administration charge. If an item is damaged while in your possession you will be charged costs of repair or replacement plus an administration charge. Details are in the Library conditions of use.
