  • Swinburne has is a downloadable A guide for Parents and a Relocating to Study Guide
  • Country Student Welcome and Orientation Program. This is organised by Student and Residential Services to make new students feel comfortable with university life. Also have a look at the Regional Students website. It has useful sections on making the transition, accommodation, budgeting and frequently asked questions.
  • Swinburne Counseling Service has counsellors who offer students free confidential help with stress, time management, adjusting to University life and other issues.

  • Literacy Collection - Most Swinburne campus libraries have a Language and Literacy Collection containing resources for students whose first language is not English.
  • Dictionaries - Dictionaries in the Literacy Collection are available for loan. English dictionaries are shelved at Call Number 423. Dictionaries in other languages eg. Korean are at Call Number 495.
