About Supersearch

Supersearch makes it easier to search databases, catalogues and other resources.

Using the standard Supersearch screen you don't need to learn how to search lots of different databases and you can search up to 15 databases at the same time. You can also create personal collections of your favourite databases and ejournals.

There are 450 databases, catalogues, and search engines linked from Supersearch, and you can search more than 90% of these resources directly from Supersearch*.

Supersearch allows you to search for phrases or keywords, search in specific fields (eg. author, title, subject) and do simple Boolean searching. For more complex searching, such as limiting searches to peer reviewed sources or complex Boolean searching, you can link from Supersearch to the database. Click the SFX buttons in Supersearch to link to full text and other services. Use the Citation Linker to locate a full text article where you have a citation.

The software is still under development so some things don't work perfectly yet and some things might change. We have listed the known problems.

Please let us know if you find any other problems or if you have any comments.
