Taking Charge Lecture and Seminar: Managing Depression and Anxiety
Help is on the way: Support for individuals, couples and families in the communitySessions can be conducted on-site at metropolitan schools in Melbourne or in small groups at the Psychology Clinic, which is located at the Hawthorn Campus of Swinburne University. The Managing Depression and Anxiety program provides an introduction to students about the impact of negative self-talk and catastrophising on wellbeing, and the ability to respond adaptively to challenges in life, such as study, employment. The program can be presented as a semi-interactive lecture to a large group of students (21-300) or as a fully interactive 1.5 hour in-depth seminar for groups of less than 20 students.
