Course Description

Learn how to scope and conduct an energy audit in the workplace or even in your own home. You will learn to identify and quantify the energy intensive business activities in an organisation and/or home.

Participants will gain a working knowledge of energy conservation and the skills to provide practical recommendations on efficiency opportunities. These skills can be utilised in reducing your energy costs both in business and the home by making your environment more sustainable and reducing your carbon footprint.

Course Details and Enrolment

This short course is based on the accredited unit ‘VU20131: Apply principles of energy and resource efficiency to greenhouse gas management’ which is one of the 7 units within the Diploma of Carbon Management.

We offer the flexibility to undertake this short course in a variety of ways depending on your preferred learning style and availability.

Fee $1470

Workshop (Accredited)

You can attend the 2 day training session where our facilitator will take you through a number of interactive learning activities and provide you with all the information you will need to know to apply the learning to your own situation . Then, using our online learning management system you will have approximately 5 weeks to complete an assessment activity where you will scope and conduct an energy audit in your home or workplace.
