Swinburne Electives Plus is designed to give you a set of skills that put you ahead of all other applicants. You can choose three electives from themed streams including:

- Effective Communication
- Enterprising Marketing
- Establishing and Running a Business
- Information Orientation
- Language Practice and Culture
- Multimedia
- The Networked Economy
- Undergraduate Research Skills
- Sustainability
Many of the electives also run in Winter and Summer terms to help you speed up or spread out your studies.
These features of Swinburne's Professional Learning Model are available to domestic students undertaking undergraduate bachelor degree programs offered at Swinburne's Melbourne and Sarawak campuses.
Restrictions apply to international students in Australia on student visas, students admitted into programs with significant levels of advanced standing and students who undertake Swinburne programs in online/distance mode, designed and offered in conjunction with overseas or industry partners or delivered by Open Universities Australia.
