Philanthropy and Social Investment

Swinburne's course in Philanthropy and Social Investment will be offered in 2009 as a Master of Business (Philanthropy and Social Investment). This new course is a continuing response to the global renaissance in philanthropy and social investment.

The course's main aim is to introduce students to a range of fundraising and grant-making perspectives and to assist you in a critical analysis of the social enterprises within which these activities are practised. It also aims to challenge the ethical and political contexts within which social enterprises operate.

A generous gift from the Trust Foundation will enable two students enrolling in the Graduate Certificate stage of the Master of Business (Philanthropy and Social Investment) to receive a scholarship. Each scholarship is valued at $10,000 each and offers a full fee waiver for the first year of study
