Lyn Turney is a researcher in the Biotechnology and Society program
of the Australian Centre for Emerging Technologies and Society (ACETS)
at Swinburne University of Technology. She lectures in sociology,
social policy and qualitative research methods.
Her areas of expertise are in the social relations of medical and
biotechnologies, in particular how these technologies intersect with
women’s bodies and their health. She has also worked in the
health sector in policy development and health service delivery.
