Postgraduate Fees

Postgraduate Fee Paying Place

A fee-paying place is one for which the university does not receive any government funding. Students enrolled in these places are required to contribute the full cost of their course. However, a loan program, FEE-HELP is available to assist eligible domestic fee-paying students to pay their tuition fees.

If you know the units that you will be enrolling in and want to calculate a more accurate figure, the cost of each unit can be found in the Unit of Study Fee Schedules. Adding the cost of each unit together will give you the cost for that teaching period.

To make it even easier we have done this estimate for you and an approximate fee for each program can be found in the Postgraduate Course Fees list.

Postgraduate Commonwealth Supported Places

Postgraduate courses at Swinburne are generally full fee paying. There are a small number that may have some Commonwealth supported places available. If you are offered a Commonwealth supported place in a postgraduate course, the eligibility rules, student contribution amounts and access to HECS-HELP are the same as those for undergraduate students.
