Being Young can be Tough
The issues faced by young people are challenging.
If you have study related stress, relationship issues, drug and alcohol questions, to family struggles and anything at all that might be worrying you, come and talk it out with the Youth Worker.
You do NOT need to cope on your own. Drop in for a chat anytime or phone.
All services are completely CONFIDENTIAL.
What do the Youth Workers at Swinburne TAFE do?
- Give advice on a wide range of information & support to young people to assist you to get what you need
- Help develop the best services and resources to meet those needs
- Take care of young people in the Swinburne community - through helping you deal with emotional, social or financial problems
- Plan and organise fun, youth focused things to do; like fetes, activities, sports, recreation and group excursionsIs involved with young people -to respond with projects and initiatives that will continually enhance the lives of young people at TAFE!
- Stand up for the rights of young people and support them in making good decisions
